On August 2nd The Madeline Rust hosted their 'Truth or
Consequences' album launch event at The Chameleon Arts Cafe, Nottingham. The
evening included a screening of the 'Desert Rain' music video, directed
by the fabulous Turrell Brothers, an introduction by the Head of TOR Records, Chris McGranaghan, and the band were joined on
stage by two guest musicians (Clara Pascall on cello and Gerallt Ruggiero on
guitar) and two backing singers (Callum McNab and Alison Taylor) who all
performed brilliantly!
The venue looked spectacular, with lighting by Mark James and Brendan O'Melia. Other visual delights including projected Spaghetti Western imagery and true crime footage, courtesy of Gavin Morrow.
We had a fantastic time, and are truly grateful for the support of everyone who came along, and especially those who contributed to the proceedings; you really made the night a success!
